The Town of Bryson City Fire Department was established on January 29th, 1912. The Department is proud to hold a Public Protection Classification (ISO) of 4 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being a perfect score.

Bryson City Fire Department is established to protect the lives and property of residents and visitors within our established jurisdictions through proactive fire prevention and safety programs and timely, professional response to emergency incident.
