REBID of Surplus Vehicles

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

The public will take notice that the Town of Bryson City proposes to accept sealed bids for the following surplus property. All vehicles are sold “As Is”.

 

1. One 2016 Ford F350 4×4 medium commercial service truck: tool storage boxes included. Mileage – 46,266.4 Needs emissions systems work. Runs but in limp mode and must be towed. Minimum Bid: $10,000 The buyer is responsible for the removal of the purchased item from the premises.

 

2. One 2004 GMC WW3500 2wd Cabover Flatbed Dump Mileage- 98,248 Needs brake work. Dead battery. Must be towed. Minimum Bid: $3,000

 

 

Call the Bryson City Town Hall at 828-488-3335 Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. to schedule a time to view the vehicles.

 

Bids sheets are available at Town Hall, 45 Everett Street, Bryson City, NC 28713 or online at www.brysoncitync.gov.

 

Sealed bids should be submitted to the Town Hall by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024.

 

Bids will be opened on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Town Hall. After all bids are received and the highest bid is reported to the Bryson City Board of Aldermen, the Alderman will accept or reject the highest bid within 30 days.

 

It is the responsibility of the highest bidder to remove the vehicle from the Town premises within 10 days of notification or their bid is forfeited to next highest bidder.
